Yomi Akala

Yomi joined Alcentra in August 2022 as Vice President of AML Compliance. He has over 10 years of experience in the AML/KYC space, working as an analyst, quality assurance, quality control, team leader, and manager. Prior to joining Alcentra, he worked at Deutsche Bank Luxembourg S.A., BNP Paribas, JP Morgan, Coutts & Co, and RBS.

Yomi is responsible for implementing new AML/KYC regulations and guidance, developing new policies and procedures to reflect changing regulatory requirements, and acting as a subject matter expert on the firm's AML/KYC policies and procedures. He also ensures that the firm adheres to these policies and procedures during onboarding and periodic review.
