Heather Smilgys

Heather Smilgys joined Alcentra in January 2022 as a Vice President on the Investor Relations team working with the European clients. Prior to Alcentra, Heather was the Investor Relations Manager at Omni Partners LLP, a hedge fund manager, where she focused primarily on the firm’s direct lending strategy. Prior to Omni, Heather was Vice President and Client Relationship Manager at Mesirow Advanced Strategies, a global hedge fund of fund business, working from the London office servicing clients across Europe, the UK and the Middle East. Previously having worked in several roles in client reporting and client transition management. Heather holds a Bachelors degree from Indiana University in Political Science with a minor in Economics.
