Hardik Makkar

Hardik Makkar joined Alcentra in July 2021 and is a senior credit analyst on the European Credit Research team in London. He is responsible for the Chemicals, Transportation, Industrials, and Aerospace & Defense sectors.
Prior to joining Alcentra, Hardik spent five years at Neuberger Berman where he was a credit analyst within their High Yield & Loans team. Previously, Hardik worked as a credit analyst at Seaport Group and as an investment banking analyst at Deutsche Bank.
Hardik graduated in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) and holds a Masters in Finance from the London Business School. Hardik is also a CFA Chartholder.
