David Edgeley

David Edgeley joined Alcentra in 2024 and is Vice President of AI developing and implementing AI solutions across the Alcentra, with a focus on driving operational efficiency and creating new value through generative AI technologies.

Prior to joining, David was a Senior Manager in PwC UK's Deal Analytics practice, where he focused on using advanced analytics and machine learning to transform deal processes and portfolio company operations. He led the several of PwC’s Generative AI initiatives including AI-enabled due diligence platforms and portfolio optimisation tools, delivering significant value for private equity and corporate clients.

David graduated from the University of Oxford with a Masters in Chemistry and holds a PhD in Computational Chemistry from the University of Reading. He is a Chartered Accountant.
