Brian O’Connell

Brian joined Alcentra in September 2014 as an Analyst in the Private Credit team. Brian is responsible for sourcing and execution of private debt investments across a variety of industries and geographies with a focus on the UK.

Prior to joining Alcentra, Brian worked at Bank of Ireland, initially working with the TMT and corporate banking teams before moving into the leveraged finance team where he was responsible for structuring and executing debt transactions for mid-market financial sponsors across a range of industry sectors.

Brian graduated from National University of Ireland, Galway in 2010 with a B.A. in Economics and Legal Science and graduated from National University of Ireland, Galway with an LLB in 2011.
