Alex Brown

Alex joined Alcentra in August 2014 and is a senior member of the European Direct Lending Operations Team.

Alex is responsible for overseeing the fund finance and liquidity function of the European Direct Lending Funds.

Prior to joining Alcentra he spent a year at M&G as a Portfolio Associate within the Alternative Credit Team working on CLO’s, CDO’s and ABS funds. Prior to this he worked at the Bank of New York Mellon for a year as a CDO Corporate Trust Associate.

Alex is a CFA Level 2 Candidate. He graduated from the University of Reading with a First Class BSc (Hons) in Finance and Investment Banking.
