Ian Fernandes

Ian joined Alcentra in 2024 and is part of the Investment Risk team, providing independent subject matter expertise to the Alcentra business for Investment Risk across all strategies.  Ian has worked within financial services for over 20 years.  Prior to joining Alcentra, Ian worked in the front office of a variety of Investment Banks including Goldman Sachs, BAML, Barclays Capital and JPMorgan, focusing on the credit derivatives structuring and marketing to banks and asset managers before joining a boutique financial consultancy specialising in quantitative risk and data analytics.

Ian has a 1st Class Honors degree from the London School of Economics in Business, Mathematics and Statistics and a Masters in Financial Mathematics from Stanford University, California.
